Concern for the Profession

The Concern for the Profession Committee was started approximately 10 years ago. Many of you know our Committee as the pronouncement of the deaths of many of our members, their families and Judges. We have tried to serve the Bar with this feature – not to be the pronouncement of “doom and gloom” but to make a difficult time easier for our members going through one of the most trying times in their lives. Many of you know, we offer the services of our past presidents as honorary pall bearers.

Our Committee however is more than that. We extend to all of you to help the Committee and spread the good news about our members and the fine things they do. We welcome announcements about the accolades that a member has received or is about to receive – that trip down the aisle or the birth of a celebrated child. What better way to promote camaraderie among the members?
