President’s Message

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Matthew A. Reale, Esq., GBBA President

As I commence my term as the 139th President of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, I reflect on how I was so fortunate to achieve this prestigious position.  The common denominator is the incredible attorneys who I have had the privilege to interact with during my career.  For me, the members of the GBBA is what distinguishes our Bar Association from all the others. History

The Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, Inc. (GBBA) was established in 1880, one of the oldest, continuously active bar associations in the United States. Throughout its history, the GBBA has promoted excellence in the legal profession, defended the interests of its members, and has sought to advance the cause of a society ruled by law.

Although its size has grown over the years, the nature of the organization remains essentially the same—it is an organization that provides its members with the opportunity to learn and grow in a congenial and friendly atmosphere.
